Commander Joseph C. Devine Invests New Leadership Roster at Legion Headquarters

Installation of officers of the Norwood American Legion Post and Auxiliary Unit took place recently in the Legion headquarters.
Norfolk County Commander Joseph C. Devine invested the Legion officers and Mrs. Mary Steward, county director, conducted the auxiliary ceremony. Legion officers are Robert F. Paquette, commander; Joseph G. Flynn, senior vice commander; Robert J. Boselli, junior vice commander; Joseph Wappel, finance officer; Henry Hines, historian; Daniel J. Griffin, chaplain and Walter A. Gotovich, judge advocate.
Also, Joseph Corbett, sergeant-at-arms; Andrew J. Mazzola, graves registration officer; Paul E. Nolan, child welfare officer; John Abel, trustee; William F. Nolan, service officer, and Gus Petrovek, Americanism officer. The executive committee includes Eugene Smith, Ronald Bowes, Edward Thompsen, Walter Aspinwall and Eugene Elmes. Directors of the building corporation are Robert Paquette, Joseph Wappel, Ronald Alexander, Ronald Bowes and Eugene Smith. Henry Hines was elected clerk of the building corporation; Walter Aspinwall, treasurer.
Auxiliary officers are Mrs. Vivian Pavidis, president; Mrs. Priscilla Boselli, senior vice president; Mrs. Florence Hertzberg, junior vice president; Mrs. Agnes Lanelle, recording secretary; Mrs. Mary Foote, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Ruth Walker, treasurer; Mrs. Ruth Harris, chaplain; Mrs. Virginia Chubet, historian, and Mrs. Gloria Reilly, sergeant-at-arms. Executive board members are Mrs. V. R. Sastavikas, Mrs. Beatrice Moloney, Mrs. Dorothy Slaney, Mrs. Gertrude Koch and Mrs. Angle Leonard.
