Visitors and Financial Success Mark First-Year Halloween Alternative

Spooks, spirits, and community collaboration took over the historic Day House at 93 Day St. as the town hosts its very first Halloween Haunted House.

Proceeds from the successful event will be shared among key partnering organizations, with the lion’s share benefiting the Norwood Historical Society‘s Day House, alongside contributions to the Norwood Arts Council (Summerfest) and the Norwood High School Student Council.

Broad Community Collaboration and NHS Class of ’84 Involvement

The haunted house was brought to life through a massive collaborative effort uniting town departments, historical advocates, and students. The Norwood Arts Council (Summerfest) spearheaded the event in pre-collaboration with the recreation department, the historical society, the NHS Student Council, and the Key Club, bolstered by numerous local businesses, merchants, and student volunteers.
