Recent elections at Norwood High School brought new leadership to the senior, junior, and student council offices. Daniel P. Kennedy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kennedy, was elected president of the senior class.

James G. Gilbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Gilbert, was chosen as junior class president. John F. Monbouquette, Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. John Monbouquette, was elected head of the student council.

Senior class officers included Kathleen Francis, vice president; Mary Sullivan, secretary; John Salvatore and Nancy Lee, treasurers; and John Chisolm and Ann Marie Ross, Athletic Association representatives. Junior class officers were Gregory Lake, vice president; Debra Bombaci, secretary; Kevin Sullivan and Margaret Sullivan, treasurers; and Joseph Sweeney and Laura Garron, Athletic Association representatives.

Student council officers elected were Deborah Favaloro, vice president; Deborah Bowles, secretary; and William Cleary, treasurer. Sophomore elections were scheduled for September, continuing the school’s annual cycle of student governance and civic participation.

The results reflected Norwood High’s emphasis on student leadership, responsibility, and involvement in school affairs, with each class selecting representatives to guide activities and serve as voices for their peers.
