
Girls exercising in the gymnasium at the Junior High School tonight were robbed of their clothing, and many had to be wrapped in blankets and taken home.
More than 100 girls — most of them from Norwood’s unemployed families — were in the gym when the thief or thieves struck, stealing the garments without leaving a trace.
Among the items taken were four dresses, fifteen pairs of stockings, six pairs of shoes, a Mackinaw coat, and numerous sets of dainty underthings.
