A longstanding political tradition at Norwood Senior High School has officially been shattered. In a historic campus election, Caroline Stratton—daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Morrissey of 123 Lincoln Street—was elected president of the freshman class, marking the first time in more than thirty years that a female student has held the class presidency.
Joining Stratton in leading the class of newcomers is Eleanor White—daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence V. White of 51 Cedar Street—who was elected to serve as freshman class vice president.
