Friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Nugent of Oak Road, who will move to Washington, D. C. this week, gave them a farewell party on Monday evening. Refreshments were served, and games and dancing were enjoyed by the many friends and neighbors who attended. A gift of money was given to Mr. and Mrs. Nugent, as a token of remembrance of their good friends in Norwood, both in business and social circles. An invitation was extended to all to visit their home in Washington.

The regular meeting of Loyal Scoble Lodge will be held this Tuesday evening in Eagles’ Hall, Day Street. As this is to be the only meeting for the month, it is expected that all members who can attend will be present.
