On Vacation Mr. and Mrs. Walter Siemash, formerly of Norwood, now of Florida, are here for a stay with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson, of South Norwood, are vacationing for a week in Wisconsin, and are noting points of interest throughout the mid-west Carl is one of the correspondents that helps make this column a success.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Nevins and family, of East Walpole, were recent vacationers al Sebago Lake. Mame Mr and Mrs. Frank Stanton, and family, of Sunnyside Road, Norwood, enjoying two weeks at Hampton Beach

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kalis, of 170 Nichols Street, Norwood, traveled to Woodstock, VT, for a short vacation Miss Jane Griffin, of Jacobs Road Norwood, is spending two weeks away from her duties at Mason-Neilan.

Home from Falmouth are Evelyn O’Malley, May Donnelley, and Pat Ryan.

Mr. and Mrs. John Rauskas, and daughter, of St Joseph Avenue, Norwood, stopped to Canada on their annual work break.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wisniewski, of St. Joseph Avenue, Norwood, returned from a motor trip to New Brunswick, Canada, and Maine.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Haffermill of Walpole have returned from Lake Winnipasaukee.

Mr. and rs. Larry Griffin, of Brockton spent an enjoyable weekend in New Jersey. Larry is Vice President of the Bird Union Local 1330.

Mr. and Mrs. Colamarie of Woodland and Norwood, entertained relatives from Vermont.

Mrs. Celia Tareila, of Winslow Avenue, was a recent guest of Mr and Mrs John Zukas, of Brockton.

The Carchedi family of Norwood had a reunion over the weekend with many of the family coming from out of Town.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hayman, of Myrtle Street, Norwood, proud new homeowner North Attleboro.

The Ecke Inn will reopen in September.

The recent K. of C clambake was enjoyed by all who attended.

Home via the airlines are Ted and John Campisano

Mrs. George Barton, of Rockhill Street, Norwood, home from the Norwood Hospital.

Norwood firefighters are to be commended for their fine work in the midst of the drought.

Seaman Second Class Victor Montisano Is home for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs Frank Montisano, Austin Street, South Norwood after a cruise to South America. His home base is Norfolk, VA.

Seaman Third Class Thomas Griffin of Jacobs Road, Norwood on shore leave from Virginia.
