Good Men and Good Tools are the keywords of the Murray Chevrolet Company, Norwood’s new and ultra-modern automotive agency located at 90 Broadway.
“Not just a good repair shop but the best,” is the way Murray Chevrolet Company describes its Service Department.
Known as the Five In-One Business, Murray Chevrolet has five separate departments that operate independently of each other.
Working on all types of cars and trucks, the repair shop employs 10 men with an average of 18 years of experience, and some have as many as 23 years.
“But a repairman is no better than the tools he works with.” is the opinion of “Hap” Hawkins, service manager and “Artie” Knoll, shop manager. “That is why you will find such well-known brand names as Black Hawk, Porto Powers, Lincoln Laboratory Equipment, Texaco Marfax Products, and Bean Wheel Alignment.”
There is no repair job. large or small, that Murray Chevrolet has to send out of the shop for service elsewhere.
The Service Department takes care of all types of automobile repairs, including acetylene welding, wheel alignment, all types of bodywork, motor repairs, and even the smaller services such as washing and lubrication, with the most modern equipment.
The Parts Department, headed by George Ault, associated with Chevrolet for 22 years, is a separate department stocked with $25,000 of fast-moving parts.
