Kwik-Chef To Open New Car-Hop Service Friday

On Friday, May 20, the Kwik Chef restaurant on Route 1, will present something new to Norwood in the form of a Car-Hop service which is the rage throughout the Western part of the country.
This style of service presents many favorable aspects to customers who patronize the establishment. First, one does not have to dress to eat at a car-hop, or people have the chance to eat and listen to their favorite radio program or baseball game on their- car radios. Another advantage of this type of service is that those who have infants may take them along and let them sleep while they are eating .
Kwik Chef, which has been in business for about seven months, has expanded the establishment three times now with this addition being of the most modern design,, They have a specially designed parking area to accommodate 30 vehicles which will be served by 10 pretty uniformed Car-Hop waitresses.
Another new feature, aside from the regular Car-Hop trays that | hang on the car windows, is the fact that they have a new type of tray that hangs inside the windows to afford customers the pleasures of Car-Hop service during rainy or inclement weather.
