The Holstein-Friesian Association of America has announced the completion of an official outstanding production record by a registered Holstein cow.

Neponset Wayne Spitfire, owned by Leonard C. Fisher of Norwood, milked Jwice daily for 365 days, produced a total of 18,150 pounds of milk and 673 pounds of butterfat as a six-year-old.

The University of Massachusetts, working in close cooperation with the National Holstein organization, supervised the weighing and testing of production as a part of the Herd Improvement Registry Program.
