This Day in Norwood History-April 28, 1949-Sale Marks Brenner’s 1st Birthday

Brenners Children Shops, Inc., at 652 Washington Street, is celebrating its first year of service to Norwood this week with a big money-saving sale today, Friday, and Saturday.

Among the famous name brands of boys’, girls’, and infants’ wear are McKen polo and snowsuits, Judy Kent blouses, Joyce Ann dresses, Cinderella dresses, Princess Ann Girl coats, Toyland Tog dresses, and a complete line of Trimfoot hosiery.

One of two Brenner’s Children shops, the Norwood store is owned and managed by Hyman Goldman and Samuel Brenner. The credit Manager at the local store is Miss Angela Rose. The other Brenner shop is located in Wakefield.

Both Mr. Goldman and Mr Brenner are backed by many years experience in the retail clothing line.

At Brenner’s can be found a wide and varied selection of fine quality clothing for children ranging from infants to sixteen years of age.
