My Uncle, Norman D. Smith was killed in 1945. He lived on 64 Lenox St. in Norwood, MA. He was in the Marines and was wounded, I believe on Guam, and he died on the ship that was bringing him home and was buried at sea. He is listed on the big board on what I believe is the town hall. Not sure if it’s on Nahatan St. or Washington St. My Mother was his sister, Rose E. Smith Day.
