With New Year’s in the offing, the Wings Club, 458 Walpole street, Norwood, is acquiring a festive air — and. incidentally
accepting reservations from members for the gala New Year’s Eve celebration.

This affair which promises to be a bang-up time will include top-notch entertainment, music for dancing favors and refreshments. You may make reservations by phoning NORwood 2328.

Manager of the Wings Club is Col George Lee of the Army Air Corps, famous for basing completed 262 missions — considered a record in his branch of the service. He served in the ETO and at the same lime was the youngest colonel in the Army.

In his absence, bis brother Thomas, is running the Wings Club, and assisting him is Bernard Bergman and by the way. Tom and Bernie want to take this opportunity of offering the season’s greetings to members and friends of the Wings Club, with the hope that they can continue to serve them.

The Wings Club is open seven days a week Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 12:30 am and on Sunday from 1 p.m to 12.30 a in Visit this beautifully decorated club soon . . it’s one of the nicest places around.
