Three people suffered serious injuries in a construction accident at the Windsor Gardens apartment complex in Norwood, Massachusetts. The incident occurred when workers fell approximately 25 feet off a ladder while performing work on building gutters at the complex located on Buckminster Drive, near the Norwood/Walpole town line.

The Norwood Fire Department responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call reporting multiple people had fallen off a ladder. A medical helicopter was called to transport one of the victims to an area hospital, while two other workers were transported by ambulance to Boston Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center, respectively.

The town’s building inspector and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) were also called to the scene to investigate the incident. The investigation is ongoing, but it highlights the importance of workplace safety and the need for proper training and equipment in construction sites.

The Windsor Gardens apartment complex has been a hub of activity in Norwood, with various construction projects underway in recent years. However, this incident serves as a reminder of the risks involved in construction work and the need for vigilance to prevent such accidents from happening in the future.
