Florence Henderson visits Norwood Hospital

, MA – surprised an elated group of patients on Saturday, October 29th with a visit to the community hospital. Ms. Henderson, who played ’s Favorite TV Mom, on , was in town for the Best Years Expo at Gillette Stadium in .

After delivering the Best Years keynote address, Ms. Henderson made her way to Norwood. Norwood Hospital patients were invited into one of the hospital’s family rooms, where Ms. Henderson met with each of them personally. A multi-talented , film and television star, Ms. Henderson warmly greeted each patient and their family , posing for photos, answering questions, and sharing stories of her career and life.

“The visit by Ms. Henderson was delightful for our patients and staff,” said , Patient Advocate at Norwood Hospital. “We all know that keeping patients feeling positive goes a long way in the healing process. Florence brightened everyone’s and we appreciate how therapeutic that can be for our patients.”

Ms. Henderson is best known as matriarch Carol Brady on the classic hit TV series The Brady Bunch. In 2008, she was inducted into the as one of the greatest pop icons of all time. In 2010, she was a contestant on and currently hosts her own talk show, , and cooking show, .
