Plans have been completed by a committee of St. George’s Lithuanian Parish of Norwood for a testimonial banquet to be tendered the Rev. Albert Abracinskas, pastor, on June 6 in observance of his silver anniversary in the priesthood.
The anniversary observance on June 6th, Pentecost Sunday, will open with a Mass at 4 p.m. in St. George’s R. C. Church, to be followed by a testimonial banquet at 6 o’clock at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Nichols Street.
Tickets may be purchased until May 30th at St. George’s Rectory, 36 St. George Avenue, Norwood. Before coming to Norwood, Fr. Abracinskas served at St. Peter’s parish in South Boston and St. Casimir’s Parish in Brockton.
