— Plans have been formally completed for a testimonial banquet honoring Rev. Albert Abracinskas, pastor of St. George’s Lithuanian Parish, as he celebrates the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.
The celebration will take place on Pentecost Sunday, June 6, marking a milestone not only for Father Abracinskas but for the entire Lithuanian Catholic community of Norwood.
Jubilee Mass and Banquet Scheduled
The day’s observance will begin with a 4 p.m. Mass at St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, where parishioners, friends, and visiting clergy will gather to honor their pastor’s quarter‑century of service.
Following the Mass, a testimonial banquet will be held at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Nichols Street. The evening is expected to draw a large turnout from parishioners, civic leaders, and members of the broader Lithuanian community.
