The Polaroid Corporation has purchased the former W. Cameron Forbes estate off Rt. 1A in Norwood at the Westwood line as a site for a multi-million dollar complex.

The site is a 220-acre tract with 190 acres in Norwood and 30 acres in adjoining Westwood. The seller was Rocco Zoppo. Broker was John Gilbride McManus, vice president, R. M. Bradley & Co., Inc.

The price, according to Norfolk County Registry of Deeds figures, was $975,000.
