Two Women Among 22 New Legion Members

The Norwood Post, 70. of the American Legion initiated 22 new members, including two women, in exercises at Legion headquarters at the Civic building Tuesday night.
Dr. Agnes Nersessian and Dorothy P Whedon became the second and third female members of the organization. Dr Nersessian is a former captain in the Army Medical Corps and Miss Whedon was a sergeant in the WAC.
The Degree was exemplified by the Wrentham Post Degree team.
The following were initiated. George Brock Jr, Robert A. Browning, John J. Cook, Timothy J Coughlin, John Defrancisco, George Farnham, Walter J Gotovitch, William E. Haley, Howard E. North, Richard A Norton, Richard E. Hollister, Julius Rabinovitch, Dorothy P Whedon, Edwin J. Pothier, Timothy E. Desmond, Frederick G. Frueh, Louis W Ruscetti. John J Bayer, Dr Agnes Nersessian, William R. Gleichauf. James E. Connolly, and Frank R. Simon.
