The beautiful new Modern Meal Shop in the modernistic building at 15 Cottage Street East, between Lewis’ Restaurant and Sam’s, will open Thursday, when Norwood housewives are invited to take advantage oí the tremendous values being offered and to inspect the interior of the store, which is considered one of the finest and most unique in Ne\y England.

Myer Denenberg, .the proprietor of the new establishment is well known in Norwood, where for five years he operated a meat stoic on Washington street around the corner from his new location. He is innovating a special service designed to please every shopper — there will be self-service for those who wish to pick their own and take it home, and there will also be a service counter where the customer will find pleasant clerks to help in their selections.

The store itself i? most attractively decorated, and the arrangement of the 1400 square feet of the interior has been made for efficiency and sanitation as well as for a pleasing effect. The walls are decorated with a soft pastel shade of cream, and the shop is illuminated with the latest in the colevolt lighting system. Neon lights have been placed along three walls, held in long polished chrome metal canopies, each of which contains two tubes of lighting. There are also lovely gondolas trimmed with chromium plates, and matching shelves have been placed on the waft Is The meat cases are of porcelain and chromium. and each has a mirrored back that adds to the streamlined effect of the interior.

The Modern Meat Shop will offer a complete stock of fancy and stable groceries. The meat, wrapped and processed in the latest sanitary methods and kept in modern, scientific refrigerators in the basement of the store, may be purchased fresh or frosted’. It will also be sold packaged, both fresh and frosted, and there will be a complete line of fish, packaged, fresh and frosted. In addition to the line of meat and fish, there will be a full supply of delicatessen items. The shop will also feature a dairy department, where ice cream. 50 varieties of cheese and all other dairy products will be sold All types of frosted foods will be carried.
