Leo J. Leonard, A.M.M. 3/C, USNR, of Hill street, who has received a citation from his commanding officer for “commendable performance of duty in disregard of his personal safety, in fueling airplanes and expeditiously securing the gasoline system while the ship was in action against the enemy during the Battle of the Philippine Sea.”
