
NORWOOD. Jan 24-In the presence of high military officials, Norwood town officers, and Selectmen from surrounding towns. Gov Allen tonight dedicated the new State Armory on Nahatan St. Thomas B. Mulvehill, chairman of the Board of Selectmen, was master of ceremonies.
Adjt Gen Jesse M. Stevens presented the keys of the Armory to Col Harry Chase, custodian of State Armories. He in turn handed the keys over to Capt Timothy Curtin of Co G, 101st Infantry, of this town. The Governor then conducted the ceremony of dedication.
Following the exercises, Governor and Mrs. Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Mulvehill held a reception in the Armory and more than 1000 persons inspected the building.
