SKETCH OF NEW ST. TIMOTHY’S CHURCH AND RECTORY to be erected in Norwood at Willett Pond. Site clearance has already begun on the spot and excavation work should begin as soon as weather conditions permit. The contract for the work has been given to the John F. Griffin Company of Boston and it is estimated that the cost of construction, parking areas, and landscaping will be approximately $550,000. Neither the architects nor the contractor can give, at the present time, any date for completion of the work, but from past experience, it appears that the church will not be ready for occupancy for twelve or fifteen months. It is possible, however, in the meantime that His Eminence, the Cardinal, will name the new Pastor of the Parish, who, until the rectory was ready, would live at St. Catherine’s.
