Superintendent of Schools, Robert J. Fuller, has handed us the following list of teachers for the ensuing year. The teaching force numbers thirty-seven, six of whom are now to the schools of Norwood.
Everett School—Mary S. Fellows, Principal, Julia R. O’Brien, Alice M. Watts (resigned), Adelaide F. Perkins, Edith G. Watts, S. Louise Rhodes.
East School—Annie E. Fales, Martha B. Parker.
West Sciiool—Emma A. Mansfield, Elizabeth Bishop.
Balch School—Minnie H. Churchill, A. Agnes Curtin.
Guild School—Lillian G. Duncan, E. Louise Ward, Estelle Mahoney, Lilia F. Bateman, Agnes Murphy, Amie W. Bigelow, Clara E. Breitling, Grace L. Newton, Ursula B. Hanna, Julia A. Dauahy, Una E. Howes, Katherine L. Carbee.
North School — Emma Nilos, Alma L. Arnold, Florence Hill, Lizzie E. Hadley, Bertha F. Willard, Ruphelle Luce.
High School—N. A. Cutler, Principal, Elzura A. Chandler, Glenn W. Hunt, Ella A. Newhall, Lottie M. Draper, Theodora Hastings, Ida J. Warren.
Following are the new teachers; all of which are well-trained and experienced, and appear to be good selections.
Miss Adelaide F. Perkins is from Hampton, N. H., with ten years’ experience as teacher. She is a graduate of Wellesley and Lias just finished eight years’ work in the eighth grade in Salem.
Miss Minnie H. Churchill comes from Bridgewater and has had four years’ experience.
Miss Una E. Howes belongs in Charleston, Me., and has taught in Mattapoisott three years.
Miss Alma L. Arnold hails from Broad Brook, Conn., a graduate of Westfield normal school, and has taught, the first grade four years.
Miss Ruphelle Luce is a Farmington, Me., normal school graduate, and has lately held the position of principal in a four-room building in Everett.
Miss Ida J. Warren is secured to establish the new English department in the High school, is a graduate of Brown University and has taught in East Side High, Povidence, R. I.
