Daily Crowds Watch Construction of Route 1 Recreation Hub

Capturing the attention of daily onlookers along Route 1 near Dean Street in Norwood, construction on a massive new entertainment facility is rapidly nearing completion. Named Roll-Land, the modern structure has been custom-built entirely for roller skating, featuring a specialized smooth skating floor and musical accompaniment designed for skaters of all skill levels.

General Manager John Santoro announced that construction is on schedule, setting an official grand opening date of November 11. Whether patrons are expert skaters or novices who are “not quite so much at home on a pair of skates,” Roll-Land promises to deliver a premier recreational destination for the region.
