Charlie Santoro, owner of Norwood’s fine Roll-Land on Route One, picked me up on my discussion about the lack of facilities and places for youths after they leave High School and before they reach the age to attend the adult entertainment spots.

Last Friday night he took me on a tour of his huge ROLL LAND and MINIATURE GOLF establishments and I was impressed. His roller skaters were there in great throngs and they were enjoying the sport as well as showing excellent form.

Charlie makes a great contribution to the town’s entertainment calendar.

With such a great hall available, it gives me an idea that some Norwood group could run a weekly dance on Monday nights for the 18-22 age group and provide a needed outlet for youthful energy.
