The judge, very lovable character, likes to reminisce of his own days in journalism, when he was a member of the Coon Club, a press club in Concord, New Hampshire . . .

The judge likes a good cigar, and having sworn off during Lent was making up for lost time when we interviewed him . . .

The judge’s only hobbies are reading, and traveling . . .

He likes historical novels and general culture literature . . .

Next to Norwood, his favorite town is Milan, Italy and he paints glowing words of the beauty of this city . . .

Perhaps the greatest pride and joy of the judge’s life is the fact that he was able to do, as he describes it, his “little bit” to give Norwood its beautiful Municipal Building . . .

The busiest men are the easiest men to see, and this is certainly true in the case of Judge Halloran, he gave us his time very willingly for this little portrait, and we wish to thank him sincerely for his courtesy and generosity to print it.
