Welcome to Norwood!
The Norwood Messenger extended a warm welcome to new residents who settled into town, greeted in person by the official Welcome Wagon Hostess:
- Mr. and Mrs. Hassell E. Lindequist moved from Roslindale with their three-year-old daughter, Sharon. Mr. Lindequist is a salesman for Bastian Bros. of Rochester, New York.
- Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kady moved from Framingham with their two children, eight-month-old Charles and two-year-old Charlotte. Mr. Kady is a building contractor.
- Mr. and Mrs. Jack S. Lennox moved from Stoughton with their three children: Scot (9), David (7), and Diane (4). Mr. Lennox is employed at Plimpton Press.
- Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Shaw moved from Belmont and Connecticut. Mr. Shaw is employed at Westinghouse in Boston.
- Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Muzyka moved from Milton with their six-month-old son, Carl, and seven-year-old daughter, Brenda. Mr. Muzyka works with Acme Industrial in Roxbury.
- Mr. and Mrs. Peter L. Santospago moved from Wellesley Hills with their seven children: Peter (11), Richard (9), Judith (7), Michael (6), Paula (4), Diane (2), and Debbie (15 months). Mr. Santospago is a foreman with Forte Fairbaire.
- Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Thrush moved from New York. Mr. Thrush is an engineer with Turban Equipment Company of New England.
- Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Graham moved from Sharon with their four children: Paul (18), Peter (15), Mark (7), and Mary Ann (5). Mr. Graham is with Plimpton Press.
- Mr. and Mrs. John R. Pendleton, Jr. moved from Maryland with their three-year-old son, John. Mr. Pendleton is with Paragon Revolute Corporation.
- Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Parsons moved from Pennsylvania. Mr. Parsons is with United Business Service.
- Mr. and Mrs. George J. Gross moved from Virginia. Mr. Gross is a Lieutenant Junior Grade with the United States Navy.
- Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Harrington moved from East Walpole with their five-month-old son, Ernest. Mr. Harrington is with Bird and Son in Walpole.
- Mr. and Mrs. Mario A. Iofolla moved from Medfield and is employed at a hat factory in Medfield.
- Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Perkins moved from Dorchester with their 17-month-old son, John. Mr. Perkins is a printer with the Globe Ticket Company in Boston.
