On July 11, 1977, the Beautification Committee of Norwood officially announced the commencement of a town-wide contest dedicated to recognizing the most attractive and well-maintained residential and industrial properties in town. The committee is inviting all citizens to participate by submitting nominations for homes or businesses that demonstrate consistent upkeep or significant property improvements.

To facilitate public participation, official ballots for the contest will be distributed to residents via their August light bills. The deadline for all contest entries has been set for October 1. Once the evaluation process is complete, the winners will be officially notified by mail and presented with certificates of achievement in recognition of their contributions to the town’s visual appeal.
