CROWNING THE QUEEN

Thomas Finley, President of the Norwood Aerie 1822 of the Eagles, is shown placing a garland of flowers upon Miss Bertha Truskauskis, 17, of 41 Walnut Avenue, who was chosen Miss Norwood of 1947 at the Football Dance, sponsored by the Eagles, at the Junior High School Saturday night and attended by over 500 people.

Miss Truskauskis was awarded a vanity set, season pass to the Guild Theatre and a bouquet of flowers.

Fred Bortolotti’s orchestra played for the dancing which followed a large entertainment program of local talent. (Surette Photo)
