Selectmen, Finance And Planning Boards, And Clergy Invited
How the Norwood Chamber of Commerce can cooperate toward a better town government and a better Norwood will be the fitting topic for discussion at the opening meeting of the Chamber’s new season, next Tuesday night in Holman Hall. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the public is invited to the meeting which will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Guests of ‘ the Chamber will be the Board of Selectmen, the Finance Commission and the Planning Board. Harry B. Butters of the selectmen, Edmund Murphy of the finance commission and Owen Sullivan of the planning board will act as spokesmen of these three groups in outlining to the Chamber the ways in which it can cooperate during the next year toward a better town government and a better Norwood. Clergy of Norwood have also been invited to the meeting. Harry Korslund, new Chamber president will preside.
A question and answer period will follow the talks. In addition, the Chamber will hear a noted speaker from the United War Fund.
