The 2024 Fourth of July parade started off a little rainy, but thousands of Norwood residents still turned out to celebrate our country’s independence. This year’s Grand Marshall was former Norwood Police Chief William G. Brooks, who retired in April of this year.
We hope you enjoy our photos of this year’s parade. If you’d like to share your 4th of July photos and videos, click the link at the bottom of this page.
Norwood’s 4th of July parade has a long, and fascinating history, and we would like to collect photos from as many parades as possible for our archives.
To share your 4th of July memories with us, please attach them using this form or email them to us. Posting them on our social media pages is wonderful, but social media sites reduce the quality of the images. That makes it difficult for future researchers to view them. Thank you!
🧭 If this post reminded you that history is happening around us all the time, like, comment, and share it on Facebook or in Norwood’s historical groups to help document the milestones of today.
