Guided Tour of the Day House – October 4, 2026

Interior view of the F. Holland Day House library featuring a red upholstered sofa, wooden bookshelves filled with colorful books, and a staircase leading to the upper floor.

October 4 @ 1:00 pm 3:00 pm

Step into history with a guided tour of the F. Holland Day House, a stunning Victorian home nestled in Norwood, Massachusetts. Visitors can explore the beautifully preserved rooms, admire period furnishings, and learn about Day’s contributions to the arts and literature. The house itself, built in 1859, stands as a testament to 19th-century architecture and the cultural richness of the era.

We are excited to also share a new exhibit at the Day House, 1776  – What Survives. The focus is on Norwood’s Witness Houses, the handful of remaining structures that were standing when the American Revolution occurred, as well as other artifacts in our collection from that time.
