Sixteen drum and bugle corps from throughout New England will perform at the Norwood Debonnaires’ 19th annual music festival, “A Tribute to Youth,” at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Norwood High School field.
Among those performing in the festival will be units from Portland, Maine; Manchester, N.H., and Cranston, R.I., as well as units from Newburyport, Haverhill, Framingham, Pembroke, and Saugus. Tickets will be available at the gate. Further information can be obtained by contacting Claire McDonald, 80 Azalea Drive, Norwood.
The festival is a celebration of youth in the community, featuring talented young musicians and performers from across the region. The event has been a staple of Norwood’s summer events for many years, attracting large crowds and showcasing the town’s commitment to supporting local talent.
