A thorough repair job on Norwood’s Carillion bells is likely as selectmen contemplate including funds for the job in the annual budget. The bells have never had a real going over and the estimate of cost of the job given by Francis J Foley, is $150.

Mr. Foley told selectmen that frames supporting the bells should be painted, and studs, leathers and washers replaced where faulty. Bells have been in place now for fourteen years.
