On a motion by Gary M. Lee, duly seconded by Walter J. Grady, it was
MOVED: That the Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to accept gifts of money, materials, or services for the construction of a Bandstand on Veterans of Foreign Wars Square, and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to act on the Town’s behalf in all matters relating to the said Bandstand, and further that the Bandstand be named in honor of the late Selectmen Walter J. Dempsey.
Motion declared carried by unanimous vote.
