Some of the brightest stars of the circus world, human and animal, imported and domestic, will be featured in 21 titillating displays when Royal International Circus shows in Norwood on July 18 at the Norwood Arena under the auspices of the norwood Kiwanis Club.

A monster hippodrome track, three rings, and acres of aerial apace under the glamorous big top are required to accommodate all of the thrilling and massive feature acts, Including one of the largest privately-owned elephant herds on the continent.

Spectators will be treated to two hours of exciting entertainment following the colorful opening parade number in which the entire performing staff participates. Clowns, trapeze artists, cavorting seals, monkey hi-jinks, ambidextrous higglers, spirited horses, and riders, will vie to delight the senses as the commonplace world gives way to the circus world of make-believe.

The sum total of animal acts, buffoonery, and variety performances, adds up to pure circus that has been proven popular with the public in some 68 years of trouping by Royal International Circus.

Although the circus has kept pace with modernization, the basic appeal of the roadshow has not been altered in the slightest.

Two performances are scheduled. The afternoon show will begin at 2:00 p.m., the night performance at at 8 00 p.m.
