Fri, Sep 25, 1931 – 31 · The Boston Globe (Boston, Massachusetts) ·

NORWOOD, Sept 24-More than 750 citizens met in the Junior High School Hall tonight to discuss the question of the site for the new Norwood Post office, soon to be erected. It was voted to hold another special town meeting on Friday, Oct 2, at which time a final vote will be taken.

The choice is limited to two sites, one known as the Everett school lot, and the other as the Thiese property on Washington st, near the new municipal building. Opinion is divided among the townspeople as to which site would be better for the town as a whole.

Norwood will ask $22,000 for the school lot and $32,900 for the Thiese property.
