And That’s No Bull
Bovie Posse Gels Runaway

Residents of David Terrace called Lt. James Murphy to report that a small bull was loose in the neighborhood and requested assistance in rounding him up.
Both cruiser cars were dispatched to the scene with Patrolman William Travers the first to arrive. Before leaving for the scene of the activity, a rope was secured from the Norwood fire station. Travers, by some adept maneuvering, managed to get the rope around the bull’s neck on the lawn of the Bedard residence, just before the reserves in the person of Patrolman John Wall and Dermot 0‘Dea arrived.
The bull is the property of Henry Sopp of 90 Maxwell avenue, residents of the neighborhood said. The three patrolmen led the bull through back yards to his own domicile and then returned to their less strenuous duties.
