
At a family party in the Hotel Manger, Boston, last week, Mr. and Mrs. Umberto Balboni of 854 Washington street, Norwood, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Thirty members of the families of each of the couple were present at the dinner and Mr. and Mrs. Balboni were presented with 25 silver dollars. The couple are shown cutting a wedding cake which is a replica of the one which they had on their wedding day.
Mr. and Mrs. Balboni came to Norwood from Somerville 22 years ago and Mr. Balboni has been in business in Norwood since that time. He* is a veteran of World War I, during which he served overseas with the 328th Infantry. He has been a member of the American Legion for the past 25 years. 20 of which he has been connected with the Norwood Post 70. He is also a member of the 40 & 8 and the Norwood Chamber of Commerce.
