
Opening of a new Ford dealership in Norwood was announced yesterday by Jack Madden, former vice president of Hoover Motors, Inc., Boston.
Madden Ford Sales, Inc., 999 Washington st., Norwood, will have ample space for customers to inspect the 1955 Ford. Adjoining the showroom is a used car and truck lot.
On hand with Madden at the open house today will be John Crowley, sales manager, Jesse Knight, used car manager, and members of the sales staff, James McGowan, Jerry Madden and Walter Schofield.
More than 10,000 feet will be devoted to servicing cars and trucks.
The dealership is two minutes off Route 1, Providence Turnpike.
