
The Norwood Italian Social Club is now located at its new quarters at 1199 Washington Street, Norwood. President Patrick Long and his committee were able to complete the renovations and alterations to the building in time for the regular monthly membership meeting this past week.
At the meeting, President Long commended the many members who contributed their time and effort to make the club looms ready for the regular meeting. Prospective members are requested to contact their sponsor so that arrangements may be completed to accept the large class now waiting for admission, Regular members are invited to avail themselves of the new and spacious facilities of the! club at their convenience.
Final plans for the Buffet Dance to be held at Workmen’s Hall on Saturday, June 3rd, were accepted at the meeting. The event will be the last Spring Social of the club so members are requested to obtain their tickets from Charles DiMarzo, the recording secretary, or from any of the club officers.
Due to the limited number of tickets available, members requiring additional tickets arc advised to telephone the club officers so their tickets may be reserved for them. The dance committee will meet tonight at the club quarters, at which time additional tickets may also be obtained. Final ticket returns must be made on or before the regular meeting of Thursday, June 1st.
