Preparing For Ground Crew Service
Designed especially to prepare young men for ground crew service in military aviation, an intensive evening course in engine service mechanics is being organized at the Training Division of E. W. Wiggins Airways, Inc, Norwood-Canton Airport. The first class will be started in April, and enrollment is now underway. The class will be limited in size.
Attendance will be required five nights each week for a period of 15 weeks. The work will include classroom instruction as well as shop work, but the accent will be on practical work in the shop on engines of both military and civilian aircraft, large and small.
This course will be in addition to the regular courses of the Wiggins Government-Approved School, which run from six months to a year.
