A card mailed in Mexico City, June 14 by Miss Emily Fisher, who is making a taxi trip from Norwood to that city and back, with several friends was received by one of her relatives last Friday.
The party had just arrived in Mexico City and were enjoying the many beautiful flower gardens and large vegetable gardens which were to be found on all sides on their way into the city. They had visited the Centennial Exposition at Dallas, Texas. The card contained a view of the Hall of Religion at the Exposition which they visited.
This beautiful $50,000 building which has been built for permanency, is gas air-cooled and was given by the Lone Star Gas System to be devoted to the religious activities of all churches at the Exposition. The building contains an assembly hall, exhibit space for all denominations, reception rooms and patios. It will be a lasting monument to the part religion has paid in Texas history.
