Want All Of Beacon School Lot Held For Future Library Use

Norwood Library Trustees who previously had requested that Norwood selectmen reserve a portion of the Beacon School lot for future library expansion, have now asked selectmen to reserve the whole of the school lot for library purposes.

Selectmen receiving the library communication last Tuesday evening; laid the matter on the table for future action.

The Board had informed library trustees that they had acceded to the request for reservation of a portion of the school lot for a library addition, plans for which have been prepared for post-war building. The Board had talked of selling the remainder of the lot for one or two house lots.

The library trustees have now come forward to ask that the whole lot be reserved for library purposes and selectmen will make their decision on the request in the future.
