Last Sunday evening about 6.30 o’clock Officer Creed saw a horse and team passing through Norwood. He noticed the animal looked quite fatigued as if overdriven, so on investigation he decided to arrest the driver, xs the horse was too tired to draw its load much farther without serious injury.

Officer Rhoads happened along about this time, and assisting Officer Creed, the two representatives of the law took Joseph Groaniaro in charge and put the horse in the stable to rest its weary Trilbys.

On Monday Judge Lane heard the case, and imposed a fine of $30 on the offender for overdriving.
