First Local Shop To Install System For Shopping Comfort

The Cumming’s Shop has just recently installed an Air Conditioning and Cooling System, making them the only shop in Norwood to take such a step in the improvement of summer shopping.

The system, which was installed by Carrier, operates in a very simple but effective manner.

Hot air within the store is pumped out through a conductor, and fresh air from outside is brought in by a similar device.

This good air is then pumped through an area containing cold water pipes, which reduces the temperature to any desired degree.

On the hottest day, the atmosphere may be lowered to as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Naturally, that temperature is too cold for even the warmest days, so a regulator on the cooling system controls the temperature.
