The “Norwood Debonnaires” Drum and Bugle Corps, sponsored by the Norwood American Legion Post No. 70, will sponsor the Fifth Annual Music Festival and Competition on Sunday, July 22, starting at 5:30 in the Norwood Arena, which has been generously donated by the Arena Corporation.

Many hours of hard work lie behind the competition which will be witnessed on Sunday, July 22, The committees, the Parents Association, the American Legion Norwood Post No. 70, which is responsible for the presentation of this program, the instructors, managers; assistants and members of each unit who will be competing on field, have been preparing many weeks for this event.

The following corps will be present to compete:

Class A-1 — Cambridge Caballeros, Immaculate Conception Reveries, Boston Crusaders, Everett Statesmen, Braintree Warriors, Holy Trinity Cadets.

Class A-2 — St Joseph’s Cadets, St. Anthony’s Dia-mondaires, Assumption Cadets, Holy Family Defenders, Bel Air of Lowell, Our Lady of Lourdes of J. P.

Class “C” — Braintree Braves, Immac Cone, Comets Everett, Sir Thomas. More Cadets Braintree, LaSalette Lancers.

Drill Teams — St. Rose Lancerettes, Gatesmaids, Sacred Heart Joanettes, St. Anthony’s Blue Diamonds.

An exhibition by the “‘Princess Corps,” sponsored by the Norwood DAV, Chapter No. 90, is planned during intermission, and also an exhibition by the Debonnaires at the closing ceremonies.
