Mr. Otis Cooper of Town Sq. Hardware Co. reports the following unusual experience of one of his customers

Henry Bergeron, 4 Brookfield Road, Norwood purchased a Rayovac 5-cell flashlight at Town Square Hardware last spring and while fishing at Turnpike Lake, Plainville, last June, lost the flashlight overboard and was unable to recover it. Last week while ice fishing at the same spot he chopped a hole in the ice and saw his flashlight on the bottom of the lake. He retrieved it with a piece of wire. He wiped it off, pushed the switch, and was amazed t» see that the flashlight still worked and was In just as good condition as the day he bought it.

There were three witnesses to this incident (fish story’) Names can be furnished on request.
