Catholic Woman’s Club To Honor Past Presidents.

The monthly meeting of the Norwood Catholic Woman’s Club will be held on Wednesday evening. February 8. at 8 p.m. in the K. of C. hall, with Miss Olive M. Dalton, president, presiding at the business meeting.

Mrs. Jean V. Dcthler, program chairman, will present a novel entertainment on that evening. ’ It is to be Past Presidents’ Night — ’Memories” and each past president will reminisce on her term in office. The past presidents are Miss Erna Kiley, Mrs. Thomas F. Riley, Mrs. Coleman J. Coyne. Miss Florence J. Hennessey. Mrs. Edmund F. Murphy. Mrs. Coleman J. Foley, Mrs. James A. Dunn, Mrs. Charles L. Donahue and Miss Mary A. Dean.

Miss Gertrude Williams, the founder and beloved first president of the club, died on December 10. 1949.

As an added attraction. Miss Dalton will show the delightful moving pictures taken on her trip to Ireland, England and France last summer.

Mrs. Thomas H. Banks, ways and means chairman, wishes to remind the members that she and her committee will sell chances on a satin puff at this meeting to be drawn the same evening.

Mrs. Francis Forrest, chairman of hospitality, has announced that Mrs. Thomas J. Mahoney will be hostess for the evening.
