WITH THE FIFTH ARMY, Italy — Pvt. Uno W. Sandell, 23 Savin avenue. Norwood, has been awarded the Good Conduct Medal for fidelity, efficiency and exemplary behavior while in service.
He is a member of the 350th Infantry Regiment of the 88th “Blue Devil” Division now serving with Lt. Gen. Mark W. Clark’s Fifth Army in Italy.
